IMAGING ASSISTANT

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- A member of the healthcare team who supports the radiology team by transporting patients and assisting with patient care, including some clerical duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
  - High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  - Certified by IDPH as a CNA or successful completion of the first level of RN or Radiology clinical education or comparable healthcare education required.
  - Medical terminology preferred.
  - Computer experience preferred.
  - Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  - DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
- Personal
  - Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
  - Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
  - Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
  - Ability to follow directions accurately.
  - Has the ability to work very closely with all employees, patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital employees.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
