The Position Specifics

Servers at Oakmont provide attentive, knowledgeable, and timely service that enhances the guest experience. You’re a crucial part of the team, helping the restaurant run smoothly while creating lasting impressions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and beverages
• Deliver food and drinks efficiently, check in with guests, and anticipate needs
• Support team members by assisting with seating, bussing tables, and other tasks as needed
• Maintain clean and organized service areas, including tables, terminals, and refrigeration units
• Observe guests to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to concerns

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state law.

This position participates in a tip pool in accordance with company policy and applicable wage and hour laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
• Valid Food Handlers’ certification and Title 4 Basic certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and beverage offerings preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
