As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving testing strategies that ensure software quality, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build efficient automation solutions, identify potential issues early, and support the delivery of high-quality products.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web-based and cloud applications.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and technical teams to define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Implement and support Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to improve test coverage and collaboration.
- Execute automated and manual testing activities, analyze results, and document defects with clear recommendations.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation frameworks, and tools to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, code reviews, and team discussions.
- Promote quality throughout the software development lifecycle by focusing on customer value and system performance.
- Stay informed about emerging testing technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Partner with development teams to identify risks, improve processes, and support successful product releases.
The ideal candidate is a quality-focused software professional with strong automation experience, analytical skills, and a passion for building reliable technology solutions. You are comfortable working collaboratively in Agile teams and applying modern testing practices to complex software environments.
- 3+ years of experience in automated software testing or quality engineering.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies.
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# for test automation development.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and modern testing methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
