Senior Product Marketing Manager, Flex

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Flex based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to build a product marketing function from the ground up within a fast-growing financial technology environment.
You will define how a complete suite of financial products is positioned, understood, and adopted by business owners.
The position combines market research, competitive intelligence, product strategy, and go-to-market execution.
You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to create messaging that drives customer impact.
This is a high-ownership role designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys creating scalable processes from scratch.
You will help shape the market narrative for innovative financial solutions while influencing product decisions through customer and industry insights.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will own the strategy, execution, and evolution of product marketing initiatives, ensuring products are clearly positioned and effectively launched. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into compelling messaging and actionable go-to-market programs.

  • Build and own the product marketing function, establishing processes, documentation, frameworks, and best practices from the ground up.
  • Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across a broad financial product portfolio.
  • Partner with Product leadership to influence roadmap decisions using customer feedback, market insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Own go-to-market strategy for new product launches, coordinating with Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, Support, and Operations teams.
  • Create internal and external marketing assets including messaging frameworks, battlecards, sales materials, product briefs, case studies, and customer-facing content.
  • Define ideal customer profiles and conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts, including win/loss analysis, competitor research, and objection handling strategies.
  • Use customer conversations, adoption data, and market insights to prioritize messaging and launch initiatives.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on product positioning, customer value, competitive differentiation, and market trends.
  • Equip revenue teams with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively communicate product value and drive adoption.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced product marketing professional with strong go-to-market expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build systems in an evolving environment. This role requires someone comfortable taking ownership of complex products and translating technical or business concepts into clear market narratives.

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, including at least 2 years working in B2B fintech, financial services, SaaS, or another complex and regulated industry.
  • Proven experience owning go-to-market strategies, product launches, positioning, and messaging initiatives.
  • Experience building product marketing processes or functions from zero to one.
  • Strong competitive intelligence skills with the ability to create actionable insights for sales and business teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner directly with Product teams and influence product strategy through market feedback.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience creating positioning documents, messaging frameworks, briefs, and sales enablement materials.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use customer research, market data, and performance insights to guide decisions.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with high ownership and accountability.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, business challenges, and how products create measurable value.
  • Experience working as a SaaS sales, account management, customer success, or revenue-facing professional is a plus.
