SCOPE

The Operations Manager works with boutique management to monitor and maintain store operations, inventory, and customer service. They are the expert on all Standard operating procedures, systems and tools - ensuring the smooth running of operations to enable the ultimate client experience. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, loves problem-solving, is detail oriented, and approaches all issues proactively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and perform daily shipping and receiving roles and responsibilities efficiently
  • Manage biannual End of Season shipping process
  • Manage the damages product process in store and implement procedures to reduce lost from in store damage.
  • Oversee the stock control processes in store including monthly cycle counts
  • Monitor and resolve negatives and other stock discrepancies as they occur in store
  • Partner with the corporate team members to run biannual full inventory according to guidelines set forth by HQ
  • Complete monthly store reconciliation
  • Ensure all team members are following the operations/stockroom guidelines
  • Partner closely with corporate partners on repair management, an handle repairs in a timely manner and communicate concerns appropriately
  • Maintain and organize BOH; proactively work to prevent LP, damages and sales issues
  • Manage Supplies (i.e. shipping, stationary, packaging, etc.) are well equipped at all times; order as needed and within budget
  • Perform opening & closing procedures
  • Coordinate HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire monitoring, elevator maintenance, pest control, as well as store planning updates with corporate team
  • Ensure all necessary daily, weekly, monthly reporting is submitted (i.e. reconciliation, packaging, etc.)
  • Work on additional projects as directed by management
Requirements:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years’ experience in the luxury sector and knowledge of industry-specific dynamics

SPECIFIC SKILLS & CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel and Outlook skills
  • Ability to react quickly within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator with proven ability to interact on a professional level with internal and external individuals
  • Ability to build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships
  • Self-motivated, proactive thinker who takes ownership & accountability for actions and outcomes
  • Ability to lift and move bulk merchandise
  • Proven ability to drive results
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
