Senior Financial Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst based in United States.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping drive business performance through financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis. Working closely with leaders across multiple departments, you will transform complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that support informed decision-making. This position offers broad exposure to the inner workings of a global, high-growth business, with opportunities to contribute to forecasting, budgeting, KPI development, and executive reporting. You will help enhance financial processes, identify trends and opportunities, and support scalable growth initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical expertise with business acumen, thrives in collaborative environments, and enjoys solving complex challenges through data-driven thinking.

Accountabilities:
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute recurring monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages to support leadership decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analyses related to profitability, operating expenses, cash flow, workforce planning, and other key business metrics.
  • Develop insights and recommendations by identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities through financial and operational data.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling activities across the organization.
  • Assist in the creation, monitoring, and enhancement of KPIs and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Human Resources, and Technology teams to improve reporting accuracy and business visibility.
  • Contribute to monthly close activities and support the preparation of executive-level and board-facing financial materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining reporting processes, enhancing financial models, and improving data accessibility.
  • Act as a trusted business partner, helping stakeholders understand financial performance and make informed strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders at various organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and financial reporting processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience within SaaS, technology, or other high-growth environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence and financial systems such as Power BI, NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora, Planful, or similar tools is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting executive reporting, dashboard creation, or board-level presentations is preferred.
