Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple environments. This role is responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, securing, and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, and related network systems while working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, solid networking fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast paced enterprise environment.

Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issues across enterprise environments.
- Respond to and manage work requests through ticketing and communication platforms.
- Configure and deploy routers, switches, and firewalls according to approved network designs and IP addressing schemes.
- Coordinate with Field Service teams during installation, deployment, and turn-up of network infrastructure.
- Work with telecommunications vendors to establish and support SIP trunk connectivity and related network services.
- Validate IP addressing, network documentation, and diagrams to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure network devices are properly integrated into authentication, backup, monitoring, and automation platforms.
- Participate in scheduled maintenance windows, including after hours and weekend support as required.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support and resolve critical network incidents outside normal business hours.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Technical
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in enterprise networking environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco IOS command-line configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with firewall technologies.
- Strong understanding of enterprise routing and switching concepts, including:
- EIGRP
- BGP
- VLANs
- ACLs
- HSRP / VRRP
- IPsec VPNs
- Familiarity with network automation and scripting concepts is preferred.

- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Education, Experience & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years’ experience supporting enterprise-scale IP networks. .
- Industry certification such as CCNP, or equivalent is a plus.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet departmental objectives; must remain accessible via communication device and coordinate coverage when unavailable
- Be prepared to complete any assigned task as required by your supervisor and in accordance with the satisfactory completion of all job duties and responsibilities
- Occasional meetings or planning discussions may be scheduled outside of regular business hours
- Valid driver's license required
- Must maintain a professional appearance and clean workspace, including appropriate attire and safety equipment when required
- Must demonstrate the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization
- Present a clean, neat, businesslike workspace and appearance, wear appropriate attire and safety equipment (as needed)
