Sr. Account Manager, Educational Services

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Account Manager, Educational Services based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, relationship management, and education workforce solutions, focused on helping schools and districts meet critical staffing needs. You will own both new business development and the expansion of existing accounts, acting as a trusted partner to educational institutions navigating complex staffing challenges. In a high-volume, metrics-driven environment, you will proactively engage decision-makers, build lasting relationships, and ensure consistent fulfillment of staffing requirements. Success in this role requires strong commercial instincts, resilience in outreach, and a genuine commitment to client outcomes. You will collaborate closely with internal recruiting and operations teams to match talent to demand efficiently and accurately. Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of educational staffing solutions across school systems and districts.

  • Proactively generate new business by engaging schools, districts, and educational institutions through high-volume outreach and strategic prospecting
  • Manage and grow existing accounts by deepening relationships and expanding the use of educational staffing services
  • Identify client staffing needs and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of assignments
  • Submit qualified candidates for educational staffing roles and support end-to-end placement processes
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in education organizations
  • Renegotiate and expand contracts to maximize mutual value and long-term partnership success
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and performance targets in a metrics-driven environment
  • Partner with internal operations, recruiting, and service teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery
Requirements:

You bring experience in sales or account management, ideally within educational staffing or a related high-volume, client-facing environment, along with strong relationship-building and performance-driven capabilities.

  • 2+ years of success in a sales, account management, or business development role with a strong performance track record
  • Direct experience in educational staffing or educational services is required
  • Proven ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment with clear targets and KPIs
  • Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, with comfort handling high-volume outreach (calls, email, and digital engagement)
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in fast-paced and competitive environments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across internal recruiting and operations teams
