Compliance Project Manager - 1016

We are seeking a Compliance Project Manager in our Broomfield, CO Location. Quantinuum believes that employees work better, more efficiently and more collaboratively in close proximity to other employees, where ideas can be exchanged readily, and decisions can be made more quickly for the benefit of the Company and our customers. All employees should work at their assigned location; however, this role may offer the opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days per week, with approvals.

The Compliance Project Manager owns the operational mechanics of the company’s compliance programs, enabling the Director of Export and Compliance to concentrate on strategic export control leadership and government compliance oversight. The role exercises judgment in managing compliance initiatives such as training calendars, audit tracking, policy rollouts and compliance reporting and is responsible for cross-functional coordination of compliance initiatives.

The Compliance Project Manager is expected to understand compliance program structures at a level sufficient to independently manage compliance initiatives, coordinate audits, analyses program performance, identify improvement opportunities and produce accurate reporting for senior leadership and the board.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the compliance training calendar, including scheduling, enrollment tracking, completion reporting, and coordination with HR and learning management systems, while analyzing participation trends and recommending improvements to training effectiveness and compliance awareness .
  • Lead the coordination of internal and external compliance audits, including scheduling, document collection, finding remediation, and status reporting.
  • Manage policy rollout processes, including drafting rollout plans, coordinating cross-functional reviews, tracking acknowledgments, and maintaining version control.
  • Produce compliance reports and dashboards for senior leadership and the board of directors, including metrics on training completion, audit status, screening volumes, policy acknowledgment rates, and open compliance actions, analyzing trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional compliance initiatives with engineering, product, supply chain, HR, and business development teams.
  • Manage the compliance program’s administrative workflows, including maintaining the compliance calendar, tracking regulatory filing deadlines, and coordinating responses to compliance questionnaires.
  • Support the Director of Export and Compliance in preparing materials for regulatory meetings, board presentations, and executive briefings.
  • Track and report on compliance program budget, vendor contracts, and technology platform renewals, providing improvement recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance program documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate logistics for compliance awareness campaigns and communications, measuring engagement and recommending enhancements .
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for routine compliance program inquiries, providing guidance on established compliance processes, governance requirements, and program expectations.
  • Support compliance investigations, remediation activities, and corrective action tracking, ensuring issues are appropriately documented, monitored, and resolved.
YOU MUST HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification
  • Minimum 3+ years of project management experience in a regulated environment at technology companies
  • Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
  • Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
WE VALUE:
  • Familiarity with export control and compliance program structures sufficient to manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with project management tools and collaboration platforms
  • Experience producing reports and dashboards for senior leadership audiences, including analyzing information and presenting recommendations
  • Experience with compliance management systems or GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) platforms
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting cadences and audit requirements in export control or government compliance contexts
  • Experience supporting compliance program operations in a company subject to EAR, ITAR, or OFAC regulations
  • Experience coordinating training programs through learning management systems (e.g., LRN, Workday Learning)

Compensation & Benefits:

Incentive Eligible – Range posted is inclusive of bonus target.

The pay range for this role is $113,000 – $152,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
