Job Description

Description:

About the Role

The Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) is a key member of Rail Modal Group's Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) operations team. Working primarily as a Documentation Specialist, the SCC ensures every shipment's processes are followed accurately from booking through final documentation.

The SCC serves as the primary liaison between RMG customers and the steamship lines RMG partners with. The NVOCC function is fast-paced and handles a high volume of information and forms, so precision and attention to detail are essential.

The SCC also works closely with RMG's Logistics and Operations teams to support the successful onward movement of customer cargo.

Bill of Lading Management

  • Process bill of lading amendments while minimizing fees and delays.
  • Arrange cargo release and courier delivery of original documents to customers.
  • Manage inventory and control of serialized original bill of lading forms.

  • Audit, approve, and dispute carrier freight invoices.
  • Onboard new customers and implement customer-specific procedures.
