Room Attendant in San Carlos, Arizona at San Carlos Apache Tribe Management

POSITION SUMMARY

Under direct supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, cleans guest rooms and halls in the Hotel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

• Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
• Checks wrap and render personal assistance to patrons.
• Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets.
• Cleans the lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies.
• Dusts furniture, wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs.
• Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
• Performs other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED must be 18 years of age. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen. Must be able to provide verification of being fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus or apply, and be approved, for a medical/religious exemption prior to employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand for extended periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is generally performed in a hotel setting a moderate noise level. Evening and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
