A Day in the Life as an Equipment Order Specialist
As an Equipment Order Specialist, you'll serve as a key liaison between CLS staff and distributors, ensuring a seamless and customer-focused order experience. Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for distributor accounts, ensuring a seamless and positive experience across all customer interactionsPartnering closely with the sales team to keep all stakeholders informed on order status and activities for assigned accountsAccurately processing customer equipment ordersResponding to customer inquiries regarding availability and product informationProviding order follow-up, tracking information, and proactively addressing any order issuesCreating and maintaining work ordersManaging equipment order backlog
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.3+ years of experience in a customer service or related roleExcellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and customer service skillsAccurate and efficient data entry and basic math skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsDetail oriented with strong time management, accuracy, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environmentAbility to work both independently and as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues at all levelsProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)Experience working with or ability to learn Salesforce, CRM systems, and other business applications
