Job Summary
The Executive Account Manager develops and maintains relationships with education specialists, lab managers, physicians, and researchers at medical device companies, Universities and Bioskills labs. Accurate quoting is essential to the success of the company. Developing a customer from a prospect or customer to an advocate either by phone or face to face meeting is also key. We are seeking an individual with passion, a positive attitude, keen drive, outstanding customer service skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate for the Executive Account Manager position exhibits internal motivation inspired by the mission of the organization and compassion for our customers.
Essential Tasks
Facilitate order process and accurately enter information into database
Collaborate with lab managers to provide specimens for research and education within requested criteria, quantity and timeframe
Manage relationships and resolve conflicts in creative, mutually beneficial ways
Network with key decision makers
Prospect and develop new international and domestic accounts
Coordinate surgical labs and customer events, including vendor management, facility coordination, equipment logistics, scheduling, and on-site event support.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to customer inquiries, urgent specimen requests, and time-sensitive operational needs outside of regular business hours.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Must have 3-5 years of account management experience
Strong customer service capabilities via all instruments of communication
Experience with complex pricing and contracts
Strong coordination skills are required with the ability to multi-task
Occasional travel may be required
Clinical background and medical experience preferred
Experience in and understanding of medical sales preferred
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree required
Work Environment:
Fast paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions and rapidly changing priorities
Position occasionally requires overtime hours
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
Sitting for long periods of time - working at computer and telephone
