Parts Manager - Faricy Automotive
Location: Salida, CO
Pay: $100,000-$140,000 per year (Depending on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead the Parts Department at our Ford, Chevrolet/GM, and Stellantis (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram) dealership in beautiful Salida, Colorado.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who not only manages the department but also enjoys supporting the parts counter, service advisors, technicians, and retail customers during busy periods. You'll oversee inventory, sales performance, manufacturer compliance, and departmental operations while helping deliver an exceptional customer experience across multiple automotive brands.
ResponsibilitiesInventory Management- Maintain parts inventory at 45 days or less supply.
- Maintain tire inventory at 30 days or less supply.
- Process weekly stock orders through the dealership DMS to replenish non-ARO inventory.
- Accurately document all lost sales.
- Stay current on manufacturer parts updates, programs, and new product offerings.
- Ensure all parts are billed accurately to the appropriate repair order or job.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Parts Department team.
- Support the parts counter and service advisors during peak business hours.
- Assist technicians and retail customers with parts identification and ordering.
- Partner with the Service Manager to maximize workflow, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain department performance standards and accountability.
- Monitor department KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Previous automotive parts experience required.
- Previous Parts Manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working with one or more of the following manufacturers is highly desirable:
- Ford
- General Motors (Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac)
- Stellantis (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram)
- Strong knowledge of dealership parts operations, inventory management, and manufacturer processes.
- Experience using a Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Ability to generate, analyze, and reconcile department reports.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- $100,000-$140,000 annually, depending on experience.
