Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pre Sales Specialist based in India.
This role is at the centre of a rapidly scaling global go-to-market engine, owning outbound pipeline generation across multiple international markets.
You will build and operate an automated, multi-channel prospecting engine that continuously creates qualified opportunities for field sales teams.
The role combines sales development, account intelligence, qualification, CRM management, and techno-commercial communication.
You will work closely with marketing, sales, customers, and technical teams to turn targeted outreach into meaningful commercial opportunities.
As the business expands across the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia, your scope will grow into deeper account research, proposal development, and consultative sales support.
You will have significant autonomy to experiment with messaging, processes, tools, and automation while continuously improving conversion and pipeline quality.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive B2B sales professional who enjoys building repeatable systems and making a visible impact on global growth.
- Own and operate an automated, multi-geography outbound engine that continuously builds and sustains qualified sales pipeline across the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
- Develop repeatable outbound processes that replace one-to-one manual prospecting with scalable, always-on systems.
- Build targeted prospect lists, design outreach cadences, develop messaging, and continuously test and optimise campaigns across email and LinkedIn.
- Qualify leads against clearly defined criteria and convert promising prospects into genuine Sales Qualified Leads before handing them to field sales.
- Partner closely with marketing to maintain clear ownership between inbound demand generation, MQL campaigns, targeted account-level outbound, and SQL qualification.
- Maintain strong CRM and outbound-tooling hygiene, ensuring account intelligence, activity history, qualification information, and pipeline data remain accurate and up to date.
- Track and report key pipeline metrics, including outbound activity, pipeline generation, MQL-to-SQL conversion, qualification quality, and deal velocity across supported markets.
- Build actionable account intelligence covering buying committees, competitive landscapes, customer priorities, use-case fit, and decision criteria.
- Support field sales with consultative, insight-led account information that enables more relevant customer conversations and stronger commercial positioning.
- Develop techno-commercial proposals and sales materials tailored to customer requirements, business objectives, and decision-making criteria as the role expands.
- Coordinate with customers, field sales, and engineering teams to support proposal development and quick-turnaround customisation throughout the sales cycle.
- Develop a strong understanding of evolving technology and product offerings and translate technical concepts into clear business value.
- Identify opportunities to improve outbound efficiency, qualification quality, automation, messaging, and overall pipeline performance.
- Contribute to the development of scalable sales processes as the field sales organisation grows across additional regions.
- Take ownership of projects and priorities independently while collaborating effectively across a fast-paced, multi-geography organisation.
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B pre-sales, inside sales, sales development, or demand generation, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience building and operating automated outbound campaigns.
- Strong experience with multi-channel outbound prospecting, particularly email and LinkedIn, including list building, cadence design, copywriting, A/B testing, and deliverability management.
- Practical experience using CRM and sales-automation platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, Salesforce, or comparable tools.
- Strong ability to research target accounts and develop actionable intelligence around buying committees, competitive positioning, customer needs, and use-case fit.
- Demonstrated qualification discipline, with the ability to distinguish genuine sales opportunities from low-quality leads and consistently convert prospects into meaningful SQLs.
- Working knowledge of software integration concepts, APIs, and hardware-software integration.
- Strong techno-commercial understanding, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value and communicate business requirements to technical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging and communication styles across the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
- Strong outbound copywriting capabilities and a data-driven approach to testing messaging, cadences, and campaign performance.
- Ability to establish repeatable processes and scalable systems rather than relying solely on individual execution.
- High level of ownership, initiative, and independence, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong learning agility and curiosity, particularly around emerging technology, AI, IoT, and software-enabled products.
- Experience engaging with EV OEMs, automotive fleets, battery technology, or IoT platforms is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with prospecting and data-enrichment platforms such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clearbit, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of email deliverability fundamentals, including domain warm-up and SPF/DKIM/DMARC, is desirable.
- Awareness of outbound compliance requirements such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM across international markets is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-driven analytics or SaaS-based platforms is beneficial.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Flexible work setup with significant autonomy in execution.
- Opportunity to work on global pipeline generation across the UK, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
- Direct and visible impact on strategic accounts and international business growth.
- Opportunity to build and own a scalable outbound engine from the ground up.
- Exposure to cutting-edge AI, IoT, EV, and fleet-intelligence technologies.
- Strong opportunities for professional growth, learning, and career development.
- Opportunity to expand into deeper account intelligence, techno-commercial proposals, and consultative sales support as the organisation grows.
- Potential for leadership and increased ownership as regional field sales teams expand.
- Cross-functional exposure to marketing, sales, engineering, and customers across multiple international markets.
- Fast-paced environment offering substantial independence and opportunities to experiment with new tools, processes, and approaches.
