Project Management Intern in Abbeyville, Colorado at Cottage Door Press LLC

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Project Manager intern to support our team in planning, executing, and monitoring projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and working cross-functionally within a dynamic environment.

We are looking for someone local to the area who can work onsite at our Rolling Meadows, IL office at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating project tasks and schedules for ELA projects
• Support Project Manager in tracking and communicating progress, milestones, and deliverables
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including editorial, creative, marketing and ops to ensure alignment on tasks and deadlines
• Assist Project Manager with resource management and workload capacities
• Support creative team with asset organization and content as needed
• Act as liaison with international vendors and manufacturing teams as needed to help with on-time delivery
• Participate in meetings, taking notes and following up on action items as needed
• Monitor risks and issues and escalate as necessary

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or graduate degree in Business, Management, Project Management or related field
• Previous work experience in related field required
• Residing in Chicagoland area and able to work onsite a plus
• Minimum 20 hours a week required
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with project management tools, systems, and methodologies
• Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines
• Strong coordination skills for cross-functional workflow
• Enthusiasm for bringing products to market and supporting successful launches
