Summary: Do you have a passion for guiding young people toward a successful future? HumanKind is looking for a Youth Career Navigator to support and mentor youth ages 14-24, with a primary focus on out-of-school youth ages 16-24. This position is key in helping young individuals overcome barriers, develop career plans, and access education and employment opportunities that set them up for long-term success. Working closely with training providers, employers, and community organizations, the Youth Career Navigator plays an essential role in empowering youth to build fulfilling careers. Success In This Role Looks Like:
- Managing a caseload of 30-50 participants, providing career counseling and personalized support.
- Helping youth overcome obstacles that hinder their educational and employment goals.
- Developing strong partnerships with schools, training providers, and employers to connect participants with opportunities.
- Guiding participants through work-based learning experiences such as apprenticeships, internships, and on-the-job training.
- Processing program-related invoices, tracking spending, and ensuring program compliance.
- Maintaining accurate records in state data systems and preparing required reports.
- Providing ongoing follow-up services to ensure continued success for program participants.
- Working collaboratively with the team to implement innovative solutions that support youth development.

What You Bring To The Team:
- Strong ability to build trust and rapport with young adults from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in career counseling, job coaching, or youth mentoring.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, for tracking and reporting data.
- Ability to collaborate with schools, employers, and community organizations to create career pathways for youth.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in workforce development, human services, or a related field.
- Experience in resume preparation, job coaching, or youth mentoring preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Completion of all required background checks and drug testing.
