Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable on-call mechanic to assist with the maintenance and repair of our company vehicles. The ideal candidate will be available on short notice to handle urgent repairs, ensuring our vehicles are safe and operational.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on company vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical issues and repair as needed
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
Experience
- REQUIRED In-field experience: 3-5 years
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic with vehicle maintenance expertise
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair techniques
- Ability to work on-call and respond quickly to repair requests
- Valid driver’s license; additional certifications preferred
License/Certification
- REQUIRED State Licensure or Registration
- PREFERRED Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification
Education
- REQUIRED HS Diploma or equivalent
- PREFERRED Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in the field
