Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at MCD, Inc. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Building maintenance and repair
• Machine maintenance and repair
• Electrical repairs and troubleshooting
• Identifying machine wear
• Assist in the installation of new equipment
• Use of lathes and vertical milling
• And more!

Shift

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
• We are open to discussing schedule flexibility!

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1-3 years of experience performing machine maintenance
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Experience with PLC & HMI (programming is a plus)
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong mechanical skills
• Must furnish own mechanical set of tools in metric and standard as well as own locking toolbox

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mills, lathes, and band saws
• Able to diagnose and repair chain-driven and gear-driven equipment, A.C. & D.C. motors and controls, and VFD motors.
• Mig or tig welding experience
• Able to read mechanical drawings
