Job Description
This position will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate specialized art courses at Jaycee Park.. They will supervise and instruct introductory-level students from age 10 to adults and perform other duties as assigned. Instructor will assist all participants equally, according to skill level.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Terms: As needed for programs that range from 4-8 weeks throughout the year
Hours: 2-10 hours per week.
Minimum Age: 18 years old, at time of application

- A strong background in one or more visual art fields and knowledge of sewing and fiber arts is required.
- Experience sewing on a sewing machine is required.
- Prior teaching experience, First Aid, and CPR certification is preferred.
- Applicants should have examples of personal artwork available for review.
Classes are scheduled according to instructor availability and participant demand. Class times must fall within hours of operation: Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am - 8:30 pm, Friday from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
