Schedule: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM | 12-Hour Night Shift
Shift Rotation: 4 Days On / 3 Days Off, then 3 Days On / 4 Days Off

HTI is hiring Equipment Maintenance Technicians for a growing solar cell manufacturing facility in Wellford, SC! This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated manufacturing equipment.

• Assist with installation, setup, and maintenance of screen printing, testing, and sorting equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues to minimize production downtime.

• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential problems before failures occur.

• Conduct routine inspections and assist with equipment adjustments and repairs.

• Work with production operators to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure proper operation.

• Monitor spare parts inventory and communicate replacement needs.

• Support equipment improvements to increase reliability and production efficiency.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S and safety standards.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or a related technical field preferred.

• Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and assist with repairs.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment and technologies.

• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and respond to equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Technical certification or associate degree in Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Technology preferred.

• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, solar cell production, or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to work rotating 12-hour overnight shifts.

Work Schedule

Night Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

• Week 1: Work 4 days, off 3 days

• Week 2: Work 3 days, off 4 days

• Rotating schedule provides extended time off throughout the month.
