About the Role:

At Nick's, our dishwashers keep the kitchen running. You'll make sure clean dishes, glassware, and cookware are always ready, and help keep the kitchen safe, clean, and organized. No experience needed. We'll train you!

What You'll Do:

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
• Check dish machine water temperature and chemicals to make sure every cycle sanitizes properly.
• Wash, sanitize, and put away all tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Keep enough clean dishes and glassware stocked for the dining room and kitchen throughout service.
• Keep the dish area and back of house clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Take trash and recycling to the dumpster at scheduled times.
• Complete all assigned tasks, or hand them off to a teammate, before the end of your shift.
• Let the Culinary Management team know right away about equipment problems.
• Ask for help when dishes or tasks fall behind.
• Be a great teammate by helping Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Servers, and Managers whenever needed.
• Take direction from management.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and uniform standards.
• Show up on time and ready for every shift with a positive attitude and proper uniform.
• Stay flexible when schedules change based on the restaurant's needs.

What You'll Bring:

• No restaurant experience required
• A strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced kitchen
• Availability to work day and evening shifts
• California Food Handler Card (provided if hired)
• Applicants under 18 must have a valid work permit

Location: Varies

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; walk, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods; occasionally sit and twist; grasp and handle items with hands; work in a hot, wet environment; and work shifts of up to 8–10 hours.
