Electrical Solutions, Inc. (ESI) is a growing electrical contractor based in Sauk Rapids, MN. We specialize in commercial electrical construction, service work, industrial projects, security camera systems, access control, network infrastructure, and specialty low-voltage systems.

Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced, motivated full time Licensed Service Electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys a variety of electrical work. No two days are the same. You may be troubleshooting a service call, completing an equipment changeout or small installation, or supporting a larger commercial or industrial project. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone who works well independently, communicates effectively, and enjoys solving problems.

Job Responsibilities

Electrical Service & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Complete electrical work for HVAC and other equipment changeouts.
• Perform work safely and in accordance with the NEC, Minnesota electrical and inspection requirements, and company safety standards.

Customer Service & Documentation

• Clearly communicate findings, repair options, and next steps with customers and project managers.
• Accurately document labor, materials, photos, equipment information, and job notes.
• Identify additional electrical concerns and recommended follow-up work.

Small Projects & Field Support

• Complete small electrical projects, panel work, lighting and device replacements, and equipment connections.
• Assist with material lists, estimates, takeoffs, and scheduling information.
• Support larger projects and mentor apprentices or less-experienced electricians as needed.

Leadership & Teamwork

• Work independently while supporting the team and maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, suppliers, contractors, and management.
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Current Minnesota Class A Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Demonstrated electrical service, troubleshooting, repair, and customer-facing experience.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable Minnesota electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to work independently, organize multiple service calls, and communicate when additional support is needed.
• Professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred

• Hands-on background with electrical work for air-conditioning, furnace, heat-pump, rooftop-unit, and other equipment changeouts.
• Commercial, residential, multifamily, industrial, or occupied-facility service work experience.
• Proficiency with panel and service upgrades, lighting controls, motors, troubleshooting, and small-project estimating.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
• Experience assisting with security cameras, access control, networking, or other low-voltage systems is helpful but not required.
