About This Position

Salary is determined based on individual experience, and the range may not include differentials which are based on team assignment. The salary range posted reflects the starting salary for the position and does not represent the maximum potential earnings.

Join our Autism Residential Adults Program in Southborough or Needham, MA — where we provide you with the essential resources, research and education to take your career to the next level.

As a Job Coach, you’ll:

  • Provide on-site job coaching and support to help clients learn job tasks and workplace expectations
  • Teach communication, social, and daily living skills (ADLs) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Develop individualized employment plans and job goals
  • Monitor each consumer’s progress and address barriers to successful employment
  • Build positive relationships and celebrate every success
  • Motivate and support consumers in achieving their goals
  • Receive paid training and coaching

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, barriers to employment, or diverse populations preferred
  • Knowledge of workforce development or supported employment practices
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, patience and dedication to help autistic consumers who engage in challenging behaviors
  • Valid Driver’s License with personal vehicle
  • CPR training (can be completed with us during your first 6 months)
  • NECC CALM training — Physical and Verbal De-escalation training and Medication Administration training (ability to get MAP Certified)
