JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Seasonal Associate, you will help create a shopping experience that will make the customer feel welcome and comfortable. The Seasonal Associate will also help maintain clean, neat, and professional presentation standards within their assigned department while performing other duties as necessary and assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the customer is always the priority.
• Determine customer needs based on personal features and other customer preference-related factors; suggest additional merchandise to compliment customer selection.
• Maintain department cleanliness standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Education /Experience

• No specific educational accomplishment is required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Communication Skills

• Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
• Communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.

Physical Demands

• This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods, hearing, and talking.
• May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• It may involve moving or lifting items to 50 pounds.

Other Skills

• Must enjoy meeting and interacting with customers.
• Possess a strong sense of urgency.
• Able to multitask.
