Quality Manager
The Quality Manager at Last Energy Inc. will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's quality assurance program (QAP) to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while maintaining and promoting high productivity. This role is critical to ensuring that our modular nuclear energy solutions meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. The Quality Manager will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and project management, to maintain quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Quality Manager at Last Energy Inc. will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's quality assurance program (QAP) to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while maintaining and promoting high productivity. This role is critical to ensuring that our modular nuclear energy solutions meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. The Quality Manager will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and project management, to maintain quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a practical Quality Assurance Program (QAP)
- Oversee inspections, testing, and validation to ensure components meet design requirements
- Oversee construction testing (e.g. welds, concrete slabs, X-rays, hydrostatic pressure tests)
- Issue, track, and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) with contractors
- Maintain clear and accurate quality documentation and records
- Evaluate and audit suppliers as needed
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in quality management, ideally in energy or manufacturing
- Proficient in quality tools such as root cause analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, and Statistical Process Control
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and innovative environments
