Get in the game! We are looking for a passionate Coach to assist with our student athletic program!
CPLC Community Schools offer high school students in low-income communities a culturally-relevant learning environment that caters to each student’s individual needs. Our vision is to grow the future leaders of our community by increasing educational achievement, graduation rates, civic participation, and college entrance and graduation. We are a non-profit charter holder for two charter high schools in the Tucson Area.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?
- You will provide student support and direction for the CPLC Community Schools' athletic program with specific responsibilities in communication and athletic compliance.
- You will be a catalyst for change within the athletic program by implementing best practices for a more diverse and inclusive program.
- You will work collaboratively with staff and leadership to ensure that students, parents, staff, and community are all provided a positive athletic experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education /Background:
- High School Diploma or verifiable G.E.D.
- An earned Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Three years of coaching sports experience.
- CPR and Basic certification
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Demonstrates ability to be organized and self-directed.
