Fulfillment Team Member at Doyles Sheehan – MISSOULA, Montana

Shift: Afternoon/Evening (12 pm (noon) - until done)

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Compensation: $18 per hour with additional earning potential via performance bonuses.

As a Fulfillment Team Member, you'll be a key player in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You'll partner with your team to:

• Pick orders efficiently from the warehouse using a wrist scanner or oral instructions.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including attaching identifying tags and securely wrapping loads by hand or with a machine.
• Load trucks for delivery, ensuring all cargo is secure using load locks.
• Verify all orders and documentation for accuracy before shipment.
• Stock incoming freight to maintain an organized warehouse.
• Safely operate various warehouse equipment, including wrist scanners, printers, RF guns, hand trucks, pallet jacks, chariots, forklifts, step ladders, totes, and a Smart Wrapper. (Certification to operate a chariot and forklift is a plus!)

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
• A strong understanding of warehouse practices and procedures.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Physically able to access all areas of the warehouse and perform the essential duties.
• Open to on-the-job training from supervisory personnel.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in similar work is preferred, but not required – we're happy to train the right candidate!

This role involves physical activity in a warehouse environment. You should be comfortable with:

• Lifting: Frequently lifting crates, cases, boxes, and totes weighing up to 35 lbs. (rarely up to 60 lbs.) from ground level to 60 inches high. Rarely lowering boxes and products weighing 5 lbs. from shelves above 72 inches.
• Carrying: Frequently carrying items up to 35 lbs. (rarely up to 60 lbs. for items like yogurt and liquids) for distances less than 50 feet at waist level.
• Reaching & Bending: Occasional bending to reach low levels and reaching overhead to high levels when picking products.
• Hand Grip Force: Possessing a hand grip force of at least 50 lbs in both dominant and non-dominant hands for gripping hand truck handles and repetitively handling freight.
• Pulling & Pushing: Occasionally pulling a 2-wheeled hand truck (50 lbs. force) and a pallet jack (75 lbs. force), and occasionally pushing a pallet jack (50 lbs. force) on level surfaces.
• Crouching & Kneeling: Occasionally crouching or kneeling to reach lower shelves.
• Climbing & Balancing: Occasionally climbing stairs and step ladders (10-inch steps) using arms and three points of contact to handle products on shelves.
• Frequent and quick use of hands and feet while handling products.
• Frequent walking and standing while handling products.
• Tolerating temperatures ranging from -10 degrees in the freezer to 115 degrees in a semi-trailer.
