- Associate degree in biomedical equipment technology or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication.
- Understanding of electronics, regulations, and technical data interpretation.
- Maintenance, repair, and testing of biomedical equipment, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Moderate physical effort, color vision test passing, and ability to work in various environments.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled services, including inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing of medical equipment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment updates.
- Inspect and test malfunctioning equipment, disassemble, repair, and replace defective parts.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and service as per manufacturer specifications.
- Test, evaluate, and classify medical equipment for serviceability and disposition.
- Ensure proper use of equipment to protect patients and staff from hazards.
- Stay updated through technical manuals and training sessions.
