🔹 Position Summary
As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents and clients in aged care facilities, disability services, and community settings.
🧑‍⚕️ Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
Support meal preparation and feeding as needed
Record and report changes in clients’ conditions
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Work collaboratively with healthcare teams and families
Uphold Advance Nursing’s standards of care and compliance
âś… Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Valid National Police Check and Working With Children Check (if applicable)
Up-to-date COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (as required by facilities)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Compassionate, reliable, and professional
🌟 Desirable
Previous experience in aged care, disability support, or hospital settings
Manual handling and infection control training
Driver’s license and own transport
