Position Summary & Essential Functions:

Oversee plant quality systems and sustain certification status for ISO 9001, UL, CSA, etc.; Develop quality performance metrics and drive improvements throughout organization; Ensure timely project completion and drive quality improvement results; Develop appropriate statistical sampling and control methods to assure desired product quality levels; Use statistically based tools to lead root cause and corrective action efforts to reduce process variability and defects; Develop and improve processing techniques to improve quality and reduce scrap and rework; Develop new products and materials for commercial use and improve systems to facilitate cable design.

Knowledge:

• Requires 18 months experience with the following skills:
  • RCA, QMS implementation, Statistical Data analysis;
  • 8D methodology, Six sigma, FMEA;
  • ISO9001, A3;
  • Process improvement, Continuous Improvement, First Article Inspection

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field
• Requires 18 months experience in a closely related occupation
