The Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and services within the hospitality, tourism, and recreation industry. This position requires adherence to all DOT regulations and safety protocols while operating various types of vehicles, including dump trucks and box trucks. The Driver will be responsible for planning efficient routes, managing transportation schedules, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and functionality. Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Proven experience in truck driving and transportation management.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks and other vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Execute efficient transportation routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding transportation needs and issues.
Skills:
