We are pediatric dental office practice in search of dental assistant to be part of our growing and dynamic team! We are seeking a candidate who is pleasant, brings a positive attitude to the workplace, is a dedicated team player, reliable and enthusiastic about professional growth. Dental assistants should possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and efficiency in their responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Welcomes customers in the dental office
- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Works well with children
Skills
- Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- RHS and ICE certificated (Preferred)
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:15am-5:00pm, Saturday 7:15am-2:00pm. Every Saturday's requirement. (weekday OFF assigned)
Location: Danbury, Derby, Norwalk, Stamford and Bridgeport.
Entry Level: $18+Career growth plan based on performance and attendance, $1 increase every 6 months!!!
Experienced dental experience, $20+ Career growth plan based on performance and attendance, $1 increase every 6 months!!!
