Compensation
Mentella uses a W-2 split-based model, where clinicians receive a consistent percentage of collected revenue.

Our splits are algorithmically benchmarked to each state’s insurance environment, ensuring fair, top-tier competitiveness and long-term financial stability.

Position Summary

This virtual therapist role provides remote psychotherapy services within a practice model designed to protect clinician well-being, support sustainable caseloads, and promote long-term professional growth. Clinicians deliver high-quality telehealth care while benefiting from organizational systems that reduce burnout and enhance clinical outcomes. The role is fully remote and suited for therapists who value flexibility, stability, and a supportive professional community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to a full caseload of clients, maintaining a schedule aligned with personal availability and clinical strengths.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record for each session.
• Respond to client and internal communications within expected timeframes, typically within 48 working hours.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and optional growth track opportunities.
• Uphold ethical standards, maintain licensure requirements, and engage in ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to a collaborative, therapist-first culture that prioritizes well-being and sustainable practice.

Qualifications

• Experience providing mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or related clinical services.
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload of 22+ sessions per week.
• Comfort delivering telehealth services using secure video platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain timely documentation.
• Commitment to a therapist-centered model that values balance, autonomy, and high-quality care.
• Willingness to participate in brief internal surveys and collaborative improvement efforts.

Education

• Master’s degree or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Completion of required supervised clinical hours for licensure (pre-licensed and fully licensed clinicians may be considered depending on organizational needs).
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and clinical competency.
