Director of Post Surgical Unit, Nursing Resources & Logistics in Stillwater, Oklahoma at Stillwater Medical

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director is responsible for setting goals and vision for two or more services, implementation of regulatory standards and assist with strategic planning of Patient Services department. The Director has a focus on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Satisfactory work experience, demonstrating nursing knowledge and skill, interest, leadership, and willingness to accept responsibility.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Oklahoma.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospital-based nursing.
• Preferably two years’ management or leadership experience.
• BSN required; masters preferred.
• Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare and process information, supervise practice of employees, and monitor the environment.
• Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
• Must be able to talk and hear to converse with others, in person, by phone, or other platforms.
• Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete necessary work schedule.
• Able to work in latex burdened environment.
