About This Position

Lead the future of critical care as a Critical Care Nurse Manager, where clinical excellence meets inspiring leadership. In this role, you will guide the day-to-day operations of a high-acuity environment, ensuring exceptional patient care while empowering a team of dedicated nurses and clinicians. As the operational and clinical leader for your unit, you will drive quality outcomes, strengthen physician partnerships, and champion innovative programs that elevate patient care.

You’ll foster a culture where evidence-based practice thrives, encouraging your team to integrate research and best practices into everyday care. From mentoring and developing staff to building strong interdisciplinary relationships, you’ll play a key role in shaping both the patient experience and the professional growth of your team. Responsibilities include leading staff recruitment and development, overseeing scheduling and performance management, and ensuring the unit operates efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Annual Salary Range: $109,366.40 - $161,324.80
Qualifications
Education:
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing.
  • Prefer a master’s degree in nursing.
Experience:
  • Must have at least five (5) years of clinical experience with two to three (2-3) years of demonstrated leadership experience relevant to the patient population and scope of care of the department.
  • Behavioral Health Departments - Pursuant to Arizona Administrative Code R9-10-306 CHAPTER 10 of the Dept. of Health Services, personnel must be at least 21 years of age, or at least 18 years of age and licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member’s scope of practice.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Must possess a current, valid Arizona RN license and be in good standing with the AZ Board of Nursing.
  • Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
  • ACLS, PALS, ATNC, or other certifications may be required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
  • Bilingual is preferred.
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse people is a must.
  • Must have excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Computer knowledge with Windows based systems is a plus.
