Neuro Technician II

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled NeuroTechnician

Work location: 8390 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway - Suite 1000 Dallas, TX 75243

Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Most shifts are either 10-hour shifts 4 days a week or 8-hour shifts 5 days a week; flexibility is within reason and is subject to change per department needs

Here's What You Need
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (REQUIRED)
  • One year of experience in Neurodiagnostics (REQUIRED)
  • Must be a Registered EEG Technician upon hire (REQUIRED)
  • BCLS - prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (REQUIRED)


What You Will Do
  • Performing Exams
  • Perform EEG Tests as appropriate and is expected to know correct recording electrode as well as appropriate sites.
  • Able to differentiate between electrode artifact and true abnormal brain wave activity.
  • Perform Long term Epilepsy Monitoring (LTEM) as appropriate and is expected to know correct recording electrode as well as their appropriate sites.
  • Able to edit and archive LTEM.
  • Able to perform 24-hour AEEG recordings on inpatients and outpatients by accurately placing recording electrodes to patient's head and chest as well as assuring ambulatory recorder is operating correctly.
  • Able to print and scan 24-hour record denoting significant data.
  • Able to provide relevant and accurate patient and family education.
