Welder Level 2 at Cryogenic Industrial Solutions – Fort Collins, Colorado

The Welder Level 2 performs both MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless-steel components with intermediate to advanced proficiency. The position requires the ability to work from complex blueprints, fabricate custom parts, and ensure compliance with inKey Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel to precise tolerances.

• Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings and weld symbols.

• Perform welds in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).

• Conduct quality control checks, including dimensional verification and basic NDT preparation.

• Assist in developing jigs, fixtures, and process improvements.

• Maintain welder logs, repair records, and consumable usage documentation.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional welding experience or equivalent technical training.

• Proficient in MIG and TIG processes on carbon and stainless steel.

• Familiarity with ASME and AWS welding standards preferred.

• Strong understanding of welding metallurgy and heat-affected zones.

Physical Requirements:
Lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long durations in shop and field environments.ternal and customer quality standards.
