Patient Transporter at University Medical Center of El Paso – El Paso, Texas

Job Description:

Transports patients to assigned areas in Hospital, utilizing proper body mechanics and established patient care standards.

Required Skills:

1. Effective oral communication skills.
2. Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
3. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
4. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required Experience:

A. Work Experience:
Previous health care experience preferred.

B. License/Registration/Certification:
1. Current CPR Training Program.
2. Nursing Assistant preferred.

C. Education and Training:
High School graduate or equivalent.
