Job Overview
Company: Blackline Design + Construction.
Salary/Pay Rate: $90,000 - $110,000 per year (based on experience) plus Year-End Bonus.
Location: St. Louis, MO (In person).
Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday.
Project Types: Adaptive reuse, historic renovation, commercial interiors, mixed-use developments, and specialized facilities (including nonprofit and ag-tech projects)
Typical Project Size: 2mm-15mm
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.

The Opportunity You will serve as the primary field leader, responsible for executing complex commercial and renovation projects with precision, safety, and attention to detail. This role empowers you to direct daily site operations, ensuring that complex commercial and renovation projects are executed with precision, safety, and a deep commitment to design intent.
How You Will Make an Impact
Lead all onsite construction activities, holding subcontractors accountable for schedule, quality, and safety.
Manage and enforce the project schedule in coordination with the project management team.
Validate the contractual scope of work for each vendor to prevent project drift and maintain cost controls.
Coordinate trades daily to resolve conflicts and maintain workflow.
Execute periodic punchlists throughout the project lifecycle to identify and resolve items needed for final completion.
Lead routinely scheduled site supervisor meetings to ensure every trade remains aligned with the design vision.
Monitor jobsite safety and compliance with OSHA standards to protect all personnel and company assets.
Take full ownership of jobsite execution and ensure the project is delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 510 years of experience managing mid-to-large scale commercial or multi-family construction projects.
Extensive experience in complex renovation projects and site development through final delivery.
Proven ability to read and interpret complex building plans, architectural specifications, and site regulations.
Demonstrated proficiency in construction management software, specifically Procore and Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of building codes and the ability to coordinate permits for work within public rights of way.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related technical field.
Experience in an environment where high-level client focus and detailed guidance are required.
Strong multitasking skills with a proven track record of supervising diverse crews on high-stakes jobsites.
