What You’ll Be Doing:
As our Assistant General Manager, you’re the right hand to the GM and the heartbeat of the store.
- Lead and support a team in a fast-paced daycare environment
- Keep operations running smoothly (even when it’s chaos )
- Coach, train, and develop team members
- Ensure the safety of every dog in our care
- Deliver top-tier service to our amazing pet parents
- Jump in wherever needed — no job too big or too small
- A natural leader who knows how to motivate a team
- Calm under pressure (because…dogs )
- Reliable, accountable, and solutions-focused
- Comfortable in a loud, active, sometimes messy environment
- Weekend and holiday availability

Requirements:- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8+ hours per shift)
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and move quickly throughout the day
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 lbs (dogs, equipment, supplies)
- Ability to control and safely handle dogs of all sizes, including large and strong breeds
- Ability to react quickly and physically intervene in dog interactions when needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with constant movement
- Ability to tolerate loud noise levels (barking, play, etc.) for extended periods
- Ability to work in environments with strong odors (cleaning products, pet waste, wet dogs)
- Ability to perform frequent cleaning tasks, including mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (indoor/outdoor transitions, damp conditions)
- Ability to use hands and arms repetitively (leashing, cleaning, opening gates, etc.)
- Ability to maintain awareness of surroundings at all times for safety
