Essential Duties:

Understands and demonstrates a safety culture of always performing work safely, setting the example for crew members.Manages a crew size of five or more journeyman level tank erectors/welders/fitters aka “tankies” with overseeing daily work, maintaining time records, collaborating with the customer and working under the Graywolf Tank & Vessels leadership group. This role may also be a combination of leading and performing the work.Maintain project schedule related to manpower, materials, and plan for contingencies.Build contacts to recruit new “tankies” to join the organization while developing internal talent.Champion company values and ethics and help to develop future leaders in a meritocracy-based region.Understands full scope of work related to erection, fabrication, and installation of tank internal/external structural steel, platforms, instruments, and associated components. Experience with stainless steel preferred, carbon and other alloys recommended.Understands the sequence of activities to be performed without being directed, and the potential outcomes of the misuse of all tank building tools and equipment. Recognizes hazards and takes the necessary action to mitigate those hazards.Ensure proper tools, equipment, and materials are available at the work locations to ensure efficient start and completion of a work task.Qualifications:

At least 4-years tank experience as journeyman level and 1-year of leading a crew. OSHA-30 or the ability to complete OSHA-30 upon selection.Technical knowledge of O365/SharePoint and other planning construction software. Strong experience in Safety, Leadership, Mobilization, Negotiation, Planning and Contract Administration.

Physical/Site Requirements:

Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.

Move in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with age.

Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.

Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
