Swiss CNC Operator – 2nd Shift in Manchester, New Hampshire at Millennium Precision Llc

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Swiss CNC Operators to help set up, operate, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines to produce precision components for multiple markets. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with tight tolerances, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Swiss-style CNC machines
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job travelers
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain production efficiency and minimize scrap
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean
• Document production and quality results

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of G-code and CNC controls
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Familiarity with various materials (stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, etc.)
• Strong math and problem-solving skills

Education:

• Minimum Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Two-year certificate in machine trade.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in CNC Swiss machining.
• Knowledge of multi-axis machining
• Basic programming or editing experience
• Experience in medical, aerospace, or precision manufacturing industries

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/production floor environment
• Standing for extended periods
• Exposure to machine noise and cutting fluids
