How You’ll Make An Impact

As our Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Partnerships, you will build and own our centralized sourcing function, consolidating purchasing power across our family of companies to drive cost savings and strengthen vendor relationships.. You will serve as a trusted partner to the operations team, ensuring our organization creates a competitive advantage through negotiating best price while developing strategies to leverage our vendor relationships to provide value added services to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Vendor Negotiations: Lead negotiations to secure best pricing, terms, and conditions from vendors and suppliers, ensuring optimal value for Green Arrow across our family of companies.
  • Centralized Purchasing: Consolidate purchasing activity across multiple sites to capture buying power, reduce costs, and create consistency in how we source materials and equipment.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts and purchase agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and contract requirements.
  • Strategy Development & Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, customers, and vendors to develop sourcing strategies that improve project timelines, ensure material and equipment availability during peak seasons, and deliver added value on job sites.
  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain deep, collaborative relationships with key vendors, including those who provide technical support on materials and systems.
  • Rebate Programs: Develop and implement rebate and incentive programs to maximize savings and strengthen vendor partnerships.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, pricing, and new technologies to inform sourcing strategies and maintain Green Arrow’s competitive edge.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve vendor performance.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize procurement data and analytics to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and support decision-making.

What You Bring

You are a strategic partner to our business, customers and vendors. You will have experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within a multi-site, growth-oriented organization. You think strategically by collaborating with all stakeholders to develop sourcing and procurement strategies for materials and equipment that provide additional value to our customers and expand our competitive advantage.

  • Strategic Sourcing Expertise: Strong understanding of sourcing best practices, contract negotiation, vendor management, and purchasing processes.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop and maintain productive vendor relationships, including technical support partnerships.
  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated success in negotiating pricing, terms, and rebate programs with suppliers.
  • Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to collaborate with customers and vendors to develop cost-effective, value-added sourcing strategies around materials and equipment that result in real competitive advantages and support seamless project delivery in the field.Technical Acumen: Ability to understand technical aspects of traffic control materials, electrical infrastructure components, and field equipment relevant to infrastructure projects.
  • Project Management: Skilled at managing multiple sourcing projects simultaneously and prioritizing effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in procurement analytics and reporting tools to inform strategy and vendor negotiations, and measure results.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPM) are a plus.
  • Hands-On Approach: Willingness to be involved in all aspects of the purchasing function, from strategy to execution.
  • Team Orientation: A collaborative spirit and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the procurement process.
  • Motivated: Self-motivated professional with strong work ethic and interest in investing and business strategy
