Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to Southern Grounds’ recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work stations
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices at all times
• Assist with inventory, prep work, and other kitchen duties as needed
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
Requirements:
• Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
