Exciting news! We're looking for a Welding Fabricator I to join our Weld Department. If you're seeking a role with an awesome benefits package, a 4-day work week with some Friday overtime, and no mandatory weekend work, this could be for you! Working Schedule: 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday with up to 75% Friday OT required.

Requirements:

Summary

Assists the department with welding and fabricating steel structural frames and sheet metal frames for environmental test chambers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Grinds, cuts, and copes steel.

· Fabricates steel.

· Builds sheet metal frames, steel frames, and solid floor systems.

· Assists with job set up.

· Performs TIG and MIG welding.

· Welds aluminum ramps and grating to stainless steel.

· Deciphers build sequence.

· Reads and interprets blueprints.

· Daily use of hand and power tools.

· Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

· Regular physical attendance is required.

· Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Education

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

· Welding certificate required.

Skills and Experience

· 5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience required.

· Ability to read a tape measure required.

· Ability to read and interpret prints required.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide required.

· Basic computer skills preferred.
