A day in the life of an activity assistant:

• Transport patients to doctor's appointments
• Transfer new residents from hospital or home to nursing home.
• Keep the facility transportation log updated.
• Complete maintenance log for any necessary van repairs/inspections.
• Flexible hours

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older
• Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital or other institutional setting (preferred, not required)
• Desire to work with the elderly and provide exceptional customer service.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and efficiently
• Reliable transportation.
• Chauffeur's license required to drive 14-passenger van.
