Under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse, assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to acutely ill patients, and assists with the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Is able to perform general nurse assistant duties in all departments with adequate supervision. High school graduate or equivalent. Current listing on the Nurse Aide registry in North Carolina. Current BCLS certification. Ability to read and communicate in English. Additional languages preferred. Minimum of six months to one year of related work experience preferred.
