Your Role as a Home Health RN Preceptor

As a Preceptor, you will serve as a clinical leader and educator, supporting both new hires and experienced clinicians while maintaining a reduced patient caseload.

Responsibilities include:

Conduct co-visits with clinicians to provide real-time training and supportLead local clinical orientation and onboarding activitiesComplete competency and skill validations for nursing staffProvide ongoing mentorship and clinical guidance to field cliniciansTravel to branches across Clay, Flagler, and Volusia counties as neededPerform patient assessments, OASIS documentation, and care planningDeliver skilled nursing care including:
  – Chronic and acute disease management
  – Medication management
  – Wound care and post-surgical support
  – Pain management Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teamsSupport quality, compliance, and clinical excellence initiatives

Schedule & Compensation

Monday-Friday (No nights, weekends, or on-call)Compensation includes a generous salary range starting at $80,000 + and is dependent upon your years of experience. Additional earnings include retention bonus, and voluntary visits


Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Florida RN license (required)Minimum 2 years of home health experience (required)Proficiency with Medicare OASIS documentation (required)Experience with WellSky/Kinnser EMR (required)Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insuranceAbility to travel within assigned region daily
