The Mission:As a Delivery Specialist, your primary objective is to be the face of the company on the job site. You are responsible for delivering a complete and accurate order safely, on time, and with outstanding professionalism. As the final touchpoint in the fulfillment engine, you ensure that our commitment to the builder is executed flawlessly at the point of delivery.
Defining the Role:- Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections; operate vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load Security: Ensure the load is properly secured before leaving the yard and after each stop.
- Delivery: Follow the route; safely unload and place materials on the job site as directed by the customer.
- Documentation: Obtain clear Proof of Delivery (POD); note any customer refusals or returns.
- Communication: Communicate any delays or issues immediately to the Customer/Dispatcher.
- Jobsite Signs: Ensure jobsite signs are present in trucks and easily ready for deployment when needed.
- Vehicles: Maintain exterior and interior care of vehicles.
Performance is measured by your direct impact on our final-mile customer service and safety record:
- On-Time Delivery Percentage: Tracking the punctuality of our routing commitments.
- Customer Feedback Score: Measuring the professionalism and accuracy experienced by the builder.
- DOT Compliance & Safety Record: Ensuring zero preventable incidents and perfect compliance logs.
- Workload Driver: The primary workload metric is the total number of deliveries completed accurately.
